That is what I was told by the owner. Vehicle went into a ditch and rolled onto the passenger side with the wheels up against the trees and the front end behind trees in the ditch. There was a stump right in front of the bumper and I didn't want to roll it back onto the top and over again because as we all know the windows blow out. Was able to get a bridle chain on the front end and ran a 2 part line and was able to pull away from the tree line then re hook the bridle to bring out and upright all with out breaking any more windows. The only broken window was the the windshield that was broken in the roll over. After that it was just a matter of loading on the bed and done. Owner paid the bill and scrapped the truck. Not a bad way to start the day.

I had a body shop have a AWD Mercedes on go jacks a while back and wanted it towed to dealer for a no start, no shift out of park issue. Went about like Orcas, not impressed.

Nice job. The only thing I saw was in the second pic was your hook has the eye facing down, can't tell in the next pic. No biggie I just try to turn eye to the sky every time so it is a habit. Never had one break and don't wish that on anyone but just in case........

Pulled some Jeeps out last winter that were just stuck in the driveway like that one, not stuck, just couldn't move if you know what I mean!!!!

That is horrific!!! Glad the operator will survive physically. That semi driver should be charged with attempted murder!!! He was driving WAY to fast for conditions!!!! His company should fire him and no one else should ever hire him to drive anything again. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the operator, the company, family and friends.

We have some scanners and one radio but it is to keep us informed so that when something does happen we know what is going on since we only have 3 towing services in the county it is nice to know if we will be needed and we can be prepared. We cover most of the south half of the county and so knowing what and where is important.
