  1. Yes, when you slow it down and watch hard. You see that it is a dark red pickup being transported backwards. If not properly secured they will get air under them, even when properly secured they can be damaged transporting in this manner. In 40 years, I have had a couple of bed liners come out and a tonnueau cover come off. The bed liners were cheap plastic, today most are sprayed in. But, you still have to watch for the rubber mats that are sometimes on the floor of the bed. Truck Owners often use them to keep things from sliding around as easily. Even Heavy Ones can get air and come out. Something else if you have to tow a tonueau cover from the rear check that it is secure any play put a strap over it. If you checked and you are confident it is secure, check again before you leave. The only tonneau cover I damaged was seure until an officer openned and close it before I left. I even saw him do it, looked at the latch which was in the down position. He did not actually latch one of both sides. It did not blow off, but did blow over the cab causing damage to the cab roof. School of Hard Knocks, why should others continue to make these same mistakes.
  2. Okay, I have not seen enough images from the 2022 Florida Show. So, I am just going to ask for them and see what shows up in this topic.

  6. Are gang can not make the show this year due to local events (Ky Derby). However, about this time the discussion of where to eat heats up. First I want to say Reservations, I will stress this numerous times. Especially walking distance to Disney Springs. Wherever you decide, make reservations in advance. Wolfgang Puck upstairs is better than Boat House. Charlie's is better than both, but further away from the host hotel. Depends on what food you're looking for. Everything is pricey so you know. Places not so good for food in Disney Springs. House of Blues, just a average barbq place. Paddlefish, never ate there because of stories I had heard over the years. Unless someone has a suggestion, I'd avoid seafood around there and choose Steak instead. If you desire seafood in Florida head East or West from the area. Boat House has both Steak and Seafood. I'd still choose Steak cause the portions are larger. Nothing is as Large as Charlies. For something a little less in price, you can not go wrong with Planet Hollywood and the place is very interesting. Again make reservations far in advance for many of these popular food venues. Like go online now and decide, even make the reservation if possible. Many book up at least 48 hours in advance. Even Charlies can be booked as large groups show up. Where to you like to go to eat while at the show?

Cheapo, did make it through the winter.
  8. While we always have these types of accidents involving drivers under the influence. The number of these incidents involving multiple parked vehicles has increased this month. Seems the incidents of drivers under the influence has increased dramatically as well. It is once again more danger than ever to be out and about in the overnight hours. The calls regarding wrong way drivers are now increasing, however locating them hasn't been as it was it the past. That will likely change, so everyone should keep you eyes open and stay out of the fast lane as much as possible. I will say to clean up the scene and tow all 4 vehicles can be time consuming. More than most who having done these much would expect. Nowadays you have to make sure you do your due diligence to clean up the scene. Someone generally will call in, photos before and after serve many purposes.
  9. Our Condolences to the Family, Friends and everyone that knew this Hall of Fame Member. I wasn't there for his induction in 2000, though I do recall his attendance at Hall of Fame inductions. Sounds like he lead a full life, to which most of us only reach a small portion of these days. Gods Speed... Mr. Jones

  13. 3 car collision sends tow truck, sedan crashing into Salem store SALEM, MASS. (WHDH) - Salem police are investigating a three-car crash that sent a tow truck and a sedan crashing into a storefront Friday. Emergency crews were called to the Castle Hill mini-mart on Jefferson Avenue around 5 p.m. for reports of the crash. The force of the collision left some damage to the store and toppled a traffic light. According to police, a black Toyota corolla made an abrupt decision to make a turn and a tow truck that was coming from behind tried to swerve. The tow truck then hit a light blue Honda that was coming in the opposite direction and pinned it into the front of the corner store. Investigators say the driver of the Honda was trapped and had to be cut out of the car. He was taken to the hospital but is going to be OK. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to avoid the area as crews work to clear the scene. Resource Link
  14. As the summer driving season nears, Indiana State Police are responding to a growing and troubling trend that shows no sign of slowing down: shootings on interstate highways in the Hoosier State. State troopers are always out there, patrolling more than 3,000 interstate miles, responding to crashes and emergencies and trying to keep our roads as safe as possible. Now, unhinged people with guns have become a curse, endangering the lives of motorists and law enforcement officers.
