Area tow truck drivers got together to form a parade for the sick children who are in the hospital. The parade circled the hospital multiple times with their lights on and air horns blaring to help bring some Christmas spirit.

Gov't takes measure to improve safety for snowplow and tow truck drivers The Alberta government is taking action to increase safety for snowplow and tow truck drivers in the province. This winter, snowplow operators on the provincial highways will be allowed to use flashing white strobe lights to increase their visibility. As well, new signage installed along highways will remind Albertans to drive to conditions and be cautious near roadside workers. The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) has launched an investigation after a tow truck operator called police on a Black Pickering family, leaving them stranded on the side of the road last weekend, nearly two hours away from their home. Part of a confrontation was captured on camera, moments before police arrived and after the family said the driver had been verbally abusive towards them. CAA claims it was the other way around. Highway Thru Hell will soon return to the airways, following up on its eighth season, which made the show the most viewed on the Discovery network. The tow-truck/heavy rescue show typically features B.C. Interior highways and neighbouring communities, including Hope, Merritt and occasionally Kamloops. Highway Thru Hell's ninth season will be its largest yet, with 18 episodes. Honored to represent TRAA on the issue of tow operator fatalities this past Friday evening at the ITWA tow show in Fair Oaks, Indiana as their special guest speaker during the candlelight vigil. A new Sarnia tow truck is expected to debut during the upcoming season of Heavy Rescue: 401, but several residents and tourists were able to catch a sneak peek of the machine Saturday. Empire State Towing & Recovery Association Notification: After closely monitoring public health events the ESTRA Board of Directors has made the extremely difficult decision to cancel the 37th Annual ESTRA Tow Show. The annual show was scheduled for May 29-31, 2020 in Lake George, New York. The next show will be held as planned on June 4-6, 2021 in Lake George, New York.

Notification of Class Status: First this Class is Sold Out and at the present we do not see any need to postpone the class in May. We do plan on revisiting this in the middle of April to see where we are at. We will make a decision well before the 21 day mark for those having to procure airline tickets still.
