  1. Nope, stopped it years ago after our insurance agent siad the liability of transporting the impaired person was far to great. We will however impound the vehicle and the owner can retrieve it within 48 hours FREE OF CHARGE. We have done this a few times they often hand over the keys and find a ride home. Reason being they don't want to leave their vehicle at the location overnight.
  2. Wow, That's going to be expensive. Wonder if the driver have a Medical Issue.
  3. I know many of us will be with family as much as possible. However, with many being short drivers the odds of being called out are high. Just remember that around the Holidays we are often there to save the other persons day. It's what we do, it's our life, It's in our blood and anyone that doesn't get it should find another career. With that I want to enjoy the day with family, kick back and relax. I FEAR I just jinx myself for sure now. Happy Thanksgiving!!! from Yoda and Yobda...
  4. Looks good at a start, will you be building light and medium duty units and when can we expect the first ones to roll out the door. Maybe 2024?
  5. I will be working on the list, as I'm not the one that deals with payments which factor into my ranking.
  6. we have not gotten to that point yet. however, we are very close actually pennies to the magic number. At that point we don't add pennies we add quarters.
  7. Any Updates on the Road Rangers condition?
  8. Have not had one of these at our scenes yet. But, keep this topic going as I use it in our expanded training.
  9. Insurance wants to total one of these we have in our yard. But, then again the Passenger Air Bags went off.
  10. Dad never heard back from either company. Is it Covid or are they that busy?
  11. Dad has an old truck that pops and squeaks, try to drowned it out and it only gets louder. The truck sits to much so that is part of the reason. However, our shop mechanic has been thru it and says it's coming from the frame mounts. I think it's the driver that drove that truck up to his death when Dad purchased it. Well, his widow actually gave it to us cause our company help with the funeral expenses.
  12. I tried the number, left a message and never heard back .
  13. I do not know what the Canadian exchange rate would be on these prices. I do know that those rates in the US would need to double to be profitable. The overhead of these Canadian Companies running for these rates must be low.
  14. Thought's & Prayer's are with the Family & Friends. We have a few of the crossings around he as well, though I don't think the trains are roll 80mph. If they were you wouldn't have time once you heard the horn and were committed I can only imagine what it would be like taking a tractor trailer over them, let alone towing one. And Thanks for don't just a good job posting the updates. Makes a difference from just hearing about it with little to no follow up.
  15. Glad to hear the injuries were not severe. I get too many Tower Downs as it is...
  16. Grand dad went that way working on the farm. Just like a light switch and they say he was gone before he hit the ground. I suppose if it's your time and the lord calls you home, then there is no better way then doing what you love. Hmm...
  17. That is Great News... Here's praying for a speedy recovery.
  18. They show the truck and not the bed, smart... Why even list it as a tow truck? It might run good, but if the bed is trash the value it Sh-It the a tow company.
  19. WE Wonder Why Drivers are Injured so often... Who Trained this guy? Car looks TOTALED, don't give a reason to claim you finish it off...
  20. Do This All The Time... Well the notification said I did it 7 times last year. I thought it was more like 10 times. Might have not logged into smile each time. Nearly forget, I just upgraded to Patron II, thanks for all you do...
  21. Welcome to TowForce the most resourceful place on the web for towing information.
  22. Gift Cards are popular after a good month, Safety Awards are sought after because Mom puts together a nice list of items. Choose something for the truck and the value is generally much higher. Cash and Time Off have been used, but for some reason don't hold as much value. Sometimes it can create a problem. Id that Only in the Towing World? Cause Large Companies do it all the Time!!!
  23. Were they shipped in a container legally? Wonder when a Rotator will show up on a YouTube or TikTok where it likely would not be?
  24. Must be a REPO... Why are they always so close up, could be they don't really know what they are doing?
