I have always been under the impression in PA, that when towing with a wrecker, the amber lights must be on and if the wrecker turn and stop lights are visible behind the causality, there is no need to add stop and turn lights on the causality. Recently, I have seen the lights added when the wrecker lights are clearly visible. What is the law?

$500,000 of damage and four dogs died in McCandless Towing fire Penfield, PA – More information is being revealed about a fire that destroyed McCandless Towing near Penfield on Thursday morning, but the cause of the fire remains unknown. McCandless Towing, which is located on Hickory Road, near Route 255/Bennetts Valley Highway, caught fire around 5 a.m. Thursday. PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police said the driver of a flatbed tow truck lost control and hit a traffic light and utility poles in Philadelphia's Mayfair section early Wednesday. It happened around 1:30 a.m. near Cottman and Brous avenues. Officials said no one was hurt but it caused a traffic mess. About 300 Peco customers lost power following the incident. VIDEO PENDING HARFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A crash on the interstate in Susquehanna County sent three people to the hospital. It happened just after midnight on Interstate 81 southbound near Harford. State police say a tractor trailer hit a tow truck and a car on the side of the road just after Exit 217 (the Harford exit). Another car was also sideswiped by that semi while traveling alongside it. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 4:59AM PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An out-of-control SUV slammed into four cars, Monday afternoon, including a Philadelphia police vehicle and a Philadelphia Parking Authority tow truck. It happened along the 4400 block of Paul Street, in the city's Frankford section. Police say the driver first hit the tow truck, then side-swiped the officer's vehicle, before hitting two parked cars. That driver was taken to the hospital. Nobody else was hurt. Tow Truck Operator Killed Port Richmond, Friday Jan. 28, 2005- Philadelphia police are looking for a driver, who struck and killed a tow truck operator, and then left the scene. The Action Cam was along I-95 North, near Allegheny Avenue in Port Richmond late Thursday evening. Police say the tow truck operator was talking to a motorist with a disabled vehicle.
