HARRISBURG, Pa. – This feature tracks the votes of area lawmakers on bills before the state House of Representatives and the state Senate in Harrisburg during the week of June 3.

HOUSE VOTES

HOUSE BILL 2233: Allows tow truck drivers, when directed by an on-duty police officer, to violate traffic laws during the rescue or removal of a disabled vehicle. Pass 198-4. Moves to Senate.

 

YEAS: State Rep. Frank Burns, D-East Taylor Township; state Rep. Jim Rigby, R-Ferndale; state Rep. Carl Metzgar, R- Somerset; state Rep. Dallas Kephart, R-Clearfield

 

HOUSE BILL 2251: Creates a timeline and requires PennDOT to execute steps necessary to process abandoned vehicles and certificates of salvage within 10 business days. Pass 201-1. Moves to Senate.
