  5. CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A Florida Highway Patrol Trooper that was hospitalized is out of the hospital, after he was hit by a pickup truck Sunday morning. It happened on the Cape Coral Bridge when FHP said the trooper was responding to a single car crash. Sunday evening, a lieutenant with FHP confirmed that the trooper is at home and is recovering. According to FHP, around 7 AM Sunday, the trooper was assisting with a single car crash of a Hyundai on the Cape Coral Bridge. He was inside his Dodge Charger waiting waiting on a tow truck for the Hyundai. While waiting, a 2005 Toyota Tundra pickup truck crashed into the FHP Dodge Charger. FHP stated the person driving the Tundra was a 50-year-old man from Cape Coral. The driver of the truck, reportedly swerved from the right lane to avoid traffic when he collided with the rear of the FHP charger. The force of the collision caused the FHP vehicle to hit the rear of a Hyundai from the previous crash investigation. The driver of the Hyundai was already away from the scene. Trooper was reported injured and sent to the hospital, but was later released. The driver of the truck was issued a citation for careless driving.
  6. Welcome Back, seems to be trending now...
  7. Condolences to the family, they seem to be keeping this quiet. Possibly because he was in bad health for longer than we know.

  9. Did they say why the driver left the roadway?
  10. Welcome, I have limited time. TowForce makes it easy too catch up with towing stuff online.
  11. Any follow ups? I saw some more images someplace. I'll see if I can find them again.
  12. Here is another image that doesn't add up. Not related to the cable breaking, but who recovers wit their wheel lift down? What do you want to bet he tried to drive it out and snapped the wire rope cable. Look like the stinger is even extended.
  13. One has to wonder who aired the tires up since the google earth view image was taken. Did you catch that? Also, that is no where near enough Dust & Debris for 2 years. I agree the image doesn't add up.
  14. Something like this is always my worst fear. So many bicycles and such narrow roads. The margin of error is a fraction and it doesn't say when the tow truck driver knew he hit the cyclist.
  15. How can you communicate foreign customers, if you don’t speak their language? Are you using Google Translate and other machine translation services and how is that working? One of our guys speaks Spanish and we have a mechanic speaks Somali. Large Community of both here.
  16. Positive Thoughts going her way for safe travels. Even though I have gotten these images, keep em coming.
