Bringing up an old topic again....lol. We use a 1 page 4 color flyer that lists our services, phone number and website. I mail them out as well as hand them out. So far after about a year I think we are probably at the break even point as far as ROI is concerned.

Yes Sir, The MPL40 is a stout unit. I had one before the HPL.

Nice set up. I remember seeing that option from Miller. My current ride is a F550 Extended cab with a 84" Ca. It has the Jerr Dan winch bumper that also has counterweight besides the winch. My front axle GAW is 6500lbs and as it sits it weighs in at 6300 or so. I am very happy with the way it tows. I am looking forward to seeing your truck when it is done....might have to stop by and see it when it is done.

R.I.P. driver, we will drag your chains from here. My thoughts are with this driver's family and friends.

Ed, going back to your original post, is your F550 counterweighted? My truck tows so well with that JerrDan winch bumper I have to be careful I don't go overboard. My F600 chassis is ordered and is scheduled to arrive Mid April, so I suspect my new truck will debut in Baltimore next year....lol.

I will be there.....wife and I are coming down Tuesday night. Unfortunately might have to leave Friday night after the Order of the Towman ceremony due to Fire School Saturday and Sunday. I am hoping I don't have to attend Saturday's class. Looking forward to seeing everyone -
The job I had before my current one this was a huge issue for me...Lady hired me to run her business and for the 1st 4 years she questioned everything I did.

That will be my next truck as well hopefully.

Questions About Your Driver Training
Towman92266 replied to Tim Ward's topic in Insurance, Safety & Training
Wow Brian, that is some very intensive training....I like it and will try to implement most of it into my training regimen. All of our new hires regardless of experience go through an on-boarding process at our corporate headquarters to go over safe driving, DOT,etc. Currently for our new hires in the LD division that have little to no experience I have them sit through ERSCA's on-line light duty program. Then I either host or send them through an In-person WreckMaster 2/3 class.....all the while being trained in house by one of our experienced drivers. I am learning that this needs to be tweaked and improved. -
