This is really great information, thanks for sharing. I would love to attend a "Live" 30 hour class.

I am late to this post, but we currently need 2 heavy drivers and 3 Class "A" Trailer drivers...been looking for over a year now. Hard to compete with what the big companies are offering, but we are trying. HD Towers unfortunately are a dying breed...nobody wants to do it anymore.

Sorry, I know I am late to this post. By the end of the summer all of my Light Duty Operators will have attended this training either on-line or in person. We are hosting this same class in August here in Central NJ.....ERSCA should be putting a post up soon. This is a great class and anybody who operated a tow truck or a rollback should attend.

To meet the requirements for the NJSP all operators must be TIMs trained. We were letting those who weren't do the on-line course through The Responder Safety Network. A local fire company held a live TIMS class put on by NJDOT and I had 5 of us attend. We enjoyed it and got so much out of it that I am hosting the same class and mandate that all of our employees attend it on our dime.
