  1. Bringing up an old topic again....lol. We use a 1 page 4 color flyer that lists our services, phone number and website. I mail them out as well as hand them out. So far after about a year I think we are probably at the break even point as far as ROI is concerned.
  2. Yes Sir, The MPL40 is a stout unit. I had one before the HPL.
  3. Nice set up. I remember seeing that option from Miller. My current ride is a F550 Extended cab with a 84" Ca. It has the Jerr Dan winch bumper that also has counterweight besides the winch. My front axle GAW is 6500lbs and as it sits it weighs in at 6300 or so. I am very happy with the way it tows. I am looking forward to seeing your truck when it is done....might have to stop by and see it when it is done.
  4. R.I.P. driver, we will drag your chains from here. My thoughts are with this driver's family and friends.
  5. Ed, going back to your original post, is your F550 counterweighted? My truck tows so well with that JerrDan winch bumper I have to be careful I don't go overboard. My F600 chassis is ordered and is scheduled to arrive Mid April, so I suspect my new truck will debut in Baltimore next year....lol.
  6. This was a Great event and I am very much looking forward to next year.
  7. I will be there.....wife and I are coming down Tuesday night. Unfortunately might have to leave Friday night after the Order of the Towman ceremony due to Fire School Saturday and Sunday. I am hoping I don't have to attend Saturday's class. Looking forward to seeing everyone
  8. I would love to deploy a "Crash Truck" on every job if I could. Unfortunately I don't think the industry will support it. Regular customers won't pay the extra fee that it would entail. We could probably get away with it on a big accident but the state handles it.
  9. The job I had before my current one this was a huge issue for me...Lady hired me to run her business and for the 1st 4 years she questioned everything I did.
  10. That will be my next truck as well hopefully.
  11. What are you getting for a Medium Duty?
  12. Wow Brian, that is some very intensive training....I like it and will try to implement most of it into my training regimen. All of our new hires regardless of experience go through an on-boarding process at our corporate headquarters to go over safe driving, DOT,etc. Currently for our new hires in the LD division that have little to no experience I have them sit through ERSCA's on-line light duty program. Then I either host or send them through an In-person WreckMaster 2/3 class.....all the while being trained in house by one of our experienced drivers. I am learning that this needs to be tweaked and improved.
  13. Shane Coleman is coming to Pennsylvania! Don't miss out!

  15. I believe this is already a the law in Pennsylvania? The problem is the police need to enforce it, and the courts need to prosecute the offenders.
  16. Value Towing is proud to be hosting a WreckMaster Level 4/5 class.
  17. Value Towing is proud to be hosting a WreckMaster Level 2/3 class.!
  18. Unfortunately it looks like Baltimore is following all of the other shows and using Sunday as a travel day...schedule is up showing Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  19. Wish it was later in the year, I would of liked to attend...maybe in 2024
