Called for a box truck “stuck in a ditch” fully loaded moving company filled to the top with household items and appliances. 
 

Knowing the general area they were in I chose to bring our 8ton F550 thinking I might need the 4X4 vs our 12 ton medium duty. 
 

Was able to get fantastic truck placement to run my lines to two Holmes trees with snatch blocks to and from the casualty back too the trees.

Nice job . You wouldn't believe the things I have pulled out with the side puller on my medium duty rollback. I've pulled power companies f550 4x4 bucket trucks down to the bumpers. The first time I tried when I got there I was like damn going to need the 50ton but I was like hell let me try first I ran a 4 part line and it brung it out . After seeing that I always just go with it unless I know it's a loaded tractor trailer then I go in the 50 ton.

Can you imagine the reliability of our day to day operations & savings in repair/emission failure costs that we would have if you could still buy a truck like this 2001 F550 with the 7.3 Diesel & 6 speed manual transmission? I have bounced the idea around about selling this for a newer truck but have always came back to the simplicity & reliability in this 23 year old truck & how solid it has been.
