I don’t see a medium.

It’s like these 3rd party apps think we want to play a game instead of using a platform to perform business .
They are credit card before rolling out, 100% goa with me now.
Took me a year to get paid and had to work a 300 job into a 400 one making The job 700.
I never forget working and not getting paid for it.

Snow rated tires are my first line of traction.
Second is 4x4.
Chains are the last tool.
Dont forget about chains for muddy situations as well.
I carry dual rails and single for the 4x4 wrecker. With a wheel lift making chaining up the rear so easy (put down to lift rear tires off the ground), I usually throw the duals if I feel the need to chain up for a job. Even though the chains are camed , I still use the spider style rubber tensioners. I also use a large zip tie to tie off the extra couple links of chain adjustment. Call me ocd.
If it’s a local dot requirement type of situation, then the singles get put on the outside.
Before I had the duals, putting the singles on the inside for goat road situations caught the ruts better. Dually trucks don’t usually drive on old forest service roads and are too wide.
Chain up rule: Don’t stick your head between your tire and wrecker body. Act like it could drop at any second. Arms in only and from the uphill side if there is a slope.

I would have waited for them and asked them how they would like to pay for your time.

sounds to me like all new bmws should be another companies problem, not mine...
Complete hog wash if you ask me but what can a little guy do vs an automaker .
A club could never pay me enough to skate a new car on and off a deck. Next thing you know they want you to buy a trans or a flat spotted tire. Screwed either way.

Amazing he missed the sign.

Since these calls are rare, I would get an old eagle claw truck on a 1 ton just for this purpose.
5-10k and you would be in business.
This makes a great yard truck as well.
...on a side note. You run Your company, not the third party you work for.

Sold the sneeker 5+ years ago and moved 700 miles away... who knows where either is at right now.

Having the sidepuller might have saved the cab from being taken out all the way.

Same, use the dash. I don't trust my expensive light to a suction cup. I don't trust it on a frozen over car either.

Hard Hit indeed. Driver had to feel that.
Hope you get more than scrap price out of the junker.

Slingshot for the win.

Every club is our enemy, just accept it and move on.
They promise service to someone and they don't even own a single truck!
NSD wastes my time weekly.
Keep calling for a prices on jobs and then never call back.
The last few have been 200+mile rental car swaps in the middle of the night.
It isn't going to be cheap folks!
Can't say how they are for payment.

What type of wrecker unit do you have?

Looks like the stout frame saved this wobbly box.
Nice Work.

ya, SCREW using a tow eye for recovery work... they snap off if using them at an angle.
Get yourself a couple 3 ft and/or 6ft green endless loops to wrap thru the wheels or control arms instead.
I get around 20 recoveries out of each strap and factor the cost into the rate.

I love that you are OCD about your trucks appearance like I am.
Just finished my HPL attachment and can't wait for the first bike of the season.

The pink 16 ton(?) doesn't look beat up in the video. Wonder if brakes were really the issue or a driver issue.

I use vacuum caps from the auto part store. ...got to find an older employee who know what a carburetor is. Ha

Hi this is Jackie... Mans voice comes on the line.
Their system is at least better than Urgentlys.
Nice "Win"

Renegade Stiff legs,
These are an option that Twin Cities Wrecker does. Notice how far forward these are compared to the factory ones which look like a toddler just slapped them on the tail.
