Got a call from a delivery company that one of there drivers was stuck on a mud road.
Stated they were following GPS
Took this before I backed in about a 100 ft.
then this is hooked up and ready to winch. 150' of winch line and about 40' of extension.
Winch up to me then pulled up another 150' to winch him to the gravel.

I'm a little different here with just me and a part timer (retired guy). I take carrier with side puller and will say most of the time will get what I went after, I have had to get 12 ton for a real hard pull but can only think of a couple of times that that has happened. The side puller is an amazing asset to have in the tool box. I am not saying you guys are doing it wrong, I would like to have someone else to bring another truck along many times, but we do with what we have.

I have a particular dislike for Geico from a bad experience some years back and refuse to work with them. I don't work with Agero any more but can get along with the rest of them just fine. Honk always treats me well even though I don't have a contract with them. They pay what they say and that same day or the next! NSD has been good to work with also, just don't have many contracts anymore. It is just to hard to bid for all the different scenarios that you run into. We are very rural and larger towns are a good distance away.

Got a call in the AM that was close to my house so Eddie asked me to take a look at it and see...
Pulled up and the guy says I don't think that truck is big enough?.... I said well if you would like, I'll go get the big truck or you can give me 5 min and we'll be out of here?
Fully loaded so it was going to need a little lift & pull. It didn't have tow hooks and I couldn't lift on the bumper without damaging it so...
So I wrapped a chain around the front spring hanger and through a screw pin shackle that I left at the edge of the bumper hole. Then used a loop strap in a basket to hook to. No scratches and she popped right out...
don't think that truck is big enough?.
HA HA!!! Always make me laugh!
