I have 125' of synthetic rope, I used to have 150' but lost too much power at the end of the pull to the truck. It works really well!

Got a call from LE for a pickup that was stolen from a lot here in town and the truck had been found out by the park. They said they wanted me " come take a look" because didn't know if it was possible to get out there. Truck had keys in it when it was stolen but not now.
The owner was there and said they didn't have an extra set. I called GM dealer and had a key made for the truck but ignition cylinder must have been changed as it didn't work. So plan B was to remove some trees to the right of truck and drag it down the hill to the park. The trees were just a couple little mulberry's and didn't take long to remove. The owner of the business behind brought out his chain saw and make quick work of it. Thanks Aaron!
Put and endless loop on that tree and a snatch block and then
winched it into the tree right in front of it and then pulled it down to here.
Was worried that the right rear box would scrape the tree coming down but it missed by
a TINY bit.
Then loaded it and towed to owners shop, no damage to truck and owners lost some belongings in the bed. Did this all with flat bed and side puller. Even got to work in the shade most of the time
The scrape you can see this picture was already there before it was stolen.

Hauled 4 vehicles from this place the other day. Tornado went thru and took the house and damaged a bunch of cars they had. Several were scrappers already and now all of the are. Guy was home and dove behind the couch with the dog and didn't have a scratch.
The little pile of rubble in front of the light pole is all that is left of the house.
All that was left of one car was engine, tranny, and hood found a long ways away.
Very lucky to not get hurt

It is an amazing tool to have in the toolbox! They are not perfect in every situation. But now that I have had one, I don't want to be without. I have the NRC style from Zips on the other truck, and it works ok, but I have pulled semi's out of the snow and ice with this one (extra blocks needed) but it is amazing!

Customer called and said there PT Cruiser had gone in the ditch and needed help to get it out. This is what I found.
Said she dropped a lit cigarette and looked down for it! It had struck that little tree but not much damage.
I had winched it up out of the water here and stopped to check my chain on the axle because I done it all by feel.
Winched it to here and then just back up a little
They paid and drove it away.
