In addition to the eye-catching wrap on the grand prize-winning 2008 Chevrolet 3500 with a Century self-loader, the truck sports a Road Armor bumper with a Smittybilt winch and PIAA lights. Peterbilt Alcoa semi-truck wheels were custom cut to fit this truck. View the full article and more on TowTimes.com

This is the truck I drive every day, a 2007 Kenworth T800 with a 2012 Century 5230 body and a 7035 under-lift. Using a 700-hp Cat C15 engine and an 18-speed Eaton transmission through 4.33 heavy-duty rears, it’s a great wrecker that has handled anything I put behind it with ease. I work for Charlie’s Repair Service LLC of York, Pa. The business was started in 1975 and has been a 24/7/365 business since. We provide heavy- and medium-duty towing, road service, roll deck trailer service and truck and trailer repair. The fleet includes four heavy-duty wreckers, two medium-duty wreckers, one rollback, one roll deck (Landoll) trailer, an air cushion trailer and mult…

This is my daily driver and my favorite of all the trucks I have driven for the company I work for — a 2016 Freightliner M2 106 extended cab with a 2016 Chevron 1016. It was built by Coker Equipment Sales Inc. in Dallas, Texas. The truck is pictured in a field of bluebonnets, which bloom wild here in central Texas during early to mid-spring. Temple Towing, Inc. has been in business since 1982, starting with one small wrecker. We expanded to two small wreckers in 1984 and then into heavy-duty towing in the early 90s. We have since grown to 17 trucks including a 60-ton rotator, two 35-ton heavy-dutys, two quick-swap heavy-dutys, two 16-ton medium-dutys, one 40-ton…

This 2015 Ford F-550 single cab with a 19-foot Jerr-Dan steel bed is from the fleet of Eastside Recovery of Brunswick, Ga. The company has been in business for over 20 years and provides light- to heavy-duty towing and recovery and roadside assistance. The owner is Mike Czerepinski. “Our operators take pride in our trucks by keeping them clean and in tip-top shape,” says Eastside Recovery. This truck was purchased from Atlanta Wrecker Sales of Atlanta, Ga. The photo was taken on St. Simons Island off the Brunswick, Ga., coast by Charles Earvin, who operates this truck. Hi All ... just a note to say, "Thank You", to all of the participants of American Towman's Beauty Pageant this year in Atlantic City. This year there were 30-trucks with others that couldn't wouldn't didn't show due to heavy call volume, illness, and that nasty cold front that struck the north-eastern seaboard the day before. Because of the snow, wet, and salted roads, many tow companies opted not to come to the show for obvious reasons. I appreciate all of the towers participation and good sportsmanship. There was plenty of hard work and attention to detail that we judges recognized making for a really close running. And, in the end, the winners of the eleven classes we…

This Century 1075 on a 2018 Kenworth T880 belongs to Fastlane Towing Inc., Collinsville, Ill. The stand-out feature of this truck is its dazzling paint job by Ryan “Ryno” Templeton of BlastedbyRyno custom painting service, Anaheim, Calif. Templeton is the acclaimed custom painter/airbrush artist who painted the trucks from the CMT television show “Trick My Truck.” Fastlane Towing Inc.’s owner Brian Slesinski flew Templeton to his location to paint this truck, which took about a month to complete the unique graphics featuring a $100 dollar bill emblazoned with the Joker character from Batman fame. Slesinski chose the currency and Joker theme and Templeton added the tr…

We were called to pick up a vehicle for the state park service in Atlantic City at the light house. Where it broke down made for a pretty good picture.
