  1. Finally got the van wrapped. Just so much going on with a big expansion in our shop and busy as hell. It came out pretty good.... Got most of the interior done. The sign board should be on this week...waiting for custom air tanks that should be in this week... We have been using it & it's earning nicely...
  2. It has a block inside it that you can't get anything in to the tank
  3. Got a call Saturday night from the Arizona center for one of these with "a hole in the gas tank"... Explained the situation and that there wasn't much we could do then. Not sure on what they decided but the situation obviously continues....
  4. Finished the last one...ready if this guy starts round 2!
  5. The 1 we got on Friday we had to go 50 miles for....but it was vandalized up here. The agent rented it with a piece of duct tape over the hole.... That wasn't too smart. But it was the 1st that the hole is up in the front of the tank? When I found out where it happened...it made sense. Their lot is on a hill and they back them in up it.
  6. Well we have had a recent financial "boost" from UHaul lately. We already do a lot of work, both road service & shop work for them now but someone has been going around to area rental centers and drilling a hole in the top of the fuel tanks. They only hit the F650's I believe because they have a large tank? This front one only had 425 miles on it! The tanks are $3000 which flipped them out....so we have been removing the tanks, fumigating them out and seal welding a plug in the hole. So far we have done 8 trucks total. The 1st we installed a used tank that they had from a wrecked unit. I told them it would be easier if we just fixed them since finding that many tanks may take some time. It amazes me that in 5 different locations, they haven't been able to catch anyone on CCTV or anything?
  7. Radio installed... Stock up on absorbent supplies... New Stihl gas chain saw, electric chain saw & K2 cut saw... Drawer assortments filled with hardware, fittings & misc. small parts. We added a collapsible latter & made a rack system for the hand tools... We have a power inverter to install & the chargers for the Milwaukee tools that are going in the locked cabinet in an organizer. We are making a seperate battery box & circuit protection system for the rear of the van to keep all of the lighting & power center separate from the chassis. I'll update when we get a little more done...
  8. Yea I want to put more pics in to show the set up. It's getting a Start-All/Compressor system and a flip up LED message board for traffic control on the roof. It should be pretty nice when done....
  9. It can get pretty involved...and most vehicles are different.
  10. Trying to load more pics but the program won't let me....Great hosting of photo's...
  11. We had to replace our service truck so we decided to start with a "clean slate". I wanted something to use for our road service, our accident clean up response as well as traffic control to deal with people that don't move over. We thought about a couple of directions and decided on this route... 2018 Ford Transit 250 Van. 1st order is to tint it down a little...lot of glass... Then we sent it out to have a Interior Shelf unit & divider panel installed... Went with a composite divider to keep noise & fumes out. Not sure why the picture size has been limited that I can only get these loaded so I'll continue on another post....
  12. This happen near us today. Guy was "towing" a rolloff can down the road w/ a pick up truck.... Ends up in the river somehow....and the fire company has to rescue him. What kind of moron would tow a rolloff can down the road?
  13. Very well thought out task....nice work man.
  14. I assume this format is like the original Tow411 that you have to host pictures off site?
