What is everyone planing for the potential of the virus?

We are no longer going to do long distance tows, considering no passengers.

5 years for causing a death from his stupidity??????

What about the family that has lost a loved one forever, 5 years just isn't enough....

So 1 of my flat beds had someone run into the side of it as it was going down the road. Took the tool box and fuel filter housing off, Needing my truck we ordered and replaced the fuel filter housing parts to be able to use the truck. Once we got it running we realized that the rear axle had shifted back 2 1/4 inches so we ordered and replaced  the center pin. So the truck was completely out of use for 15 days. 5 weeks since the accident the insurance company still hasn't finished the estimate and the truck still doesn't have the tool box which houses the air compressor and tools so we can't fully utilize the truck.

So is there any rule of thumb as to how much i should expect the insurance company to pay for loss of use?

We have been using "payfox" mobile app for the drivers to accept credit cards. Love it there is a place for the driver to put a description ie invoice # and driver name. Then every transaction we get an email so i can stay on top of it. Big problem i'm being told it will no longer function in 4 weeks and the new program they  are offering doesn't give us the ability to put any notes nor will we get an email. 

So wondering what everyone is using and what are the pros and cons?

we purchased a synthetic rope. i will post how it works out.

AAA will give us a second call # to tow the vehicle to a safe place to change a tire, and we have not had any issues with the members once we explain to them that we need a safe place to change their tire to avoid be killed.

Strongly considering trying synthetic winch rope anyone have history using it on a flatbed?

I was never a Dodge fan, now that Fiat owns them I've definitely changed my mind. We purchased a 5500 wrecker in December (love the truck) big reason is Ram has an exhaust brake then open the hood on a Ford you can't even see the engine i can only imagine how fun it would be to try and work on it, open the hood on the Ram there's room to access the engine. The cummins engine has years of proof it's good and the torque of the straight 6. I have 4 fords with the 7.3 so i am a ford fan. 

April, May, and September are slow times for us, making them the best months.

The Florida tow show is the best as we use it as a chance to enjoy the sun and unwind after a long busy winter (we're in VT).

Vt does not host a tow show.

Any of my employees show up in pants looking like that would be fired!!

We recieved a recruitment email from Roadside Protect, anyone deal with them or know who they are?

But it's a motorhome, aren't they exempt from all the rules
