I’m thinking about going to the Tow Expo in Fort Worth next month. there’s several classes I will probably attend if there not sold out but my primary reason is to look at roll back options. I’m planning on adding another truck. Would really like to see what my options are especially given that you can’t just buy a truck right now at least not exactly what I want so I might as well order what I want. i haven’t been to a Tow show before any input on what I might expect from it. Timing for this show is good and I have family in Dallas to see while I’m there so I’ll kill two birds with one stone. also any input of where to book a hotel would be…

This is an old topic by an unknown member on Tow411: How many miles in-between PM's do you run, and what does your PM cover? Do you do everything every time or do some things wait for every other PM? Also, what brand oil is your favorite and why? Does any1 run synthetics? Unknown Member said in 2004: I'm running a couple of F-550 7.3 power strokes and a Heavy cummins. I do oil changes every 3,000 using only Chevron Delo 15/40. I use synthetics in each rear end differential. I ad Lucas to my transmissions and change the trans and cooling fluids every 50K. I mark the miles and date on the bottom of the oil …

Ive never even been in a wrecker to know what to expect. I own a 2015 f550 4x4 roll back that’s more than paid for itself. I foresee winter winch outs and recovery tows as an easy way to cover the cost of a new wrecker. I’m skilled in bad weather driving and winch outs it’s kind of part of my DNA so it’s a good fit. But I really have no idea what is the right configuration of a truck to buy. I know I want self loading wheel lift and the easiest to use rear dolly system. I plan to be a lazy old tow truck driver for years to come and won’t be skimping on a few dollars now to regret it ten plus years down the road. so my questions would be something like…

Many of you know but it was worse then I thought... When I bought my new Heavy, they told me if I wanted to order a chassis for a custom build, it would be 18 months for a Paccar chassis. We couldn't get an International chassis for the rollback but was lucky to find a hard loaded Pete that fit the bill. Now my dealer called last week to tell us that the Super Duty chassis will be hard to get through next year. We had to commit to a new F600 for a carrier and a F550 for a wrecker now, to receive it 3rd quarter next year. Truck chassis' & bodies are going up between 8-12% as well so a deposit now will hold the current prices. Now I'm sure there will be trucks out ther…
