EdsTowing
Got a call the other day from one of our accounts that accidentally backed up over a bridge & rolled over into the creek below.... It would of been tight for me to try to lift it vertically and pull away...so I chose to come in from the side and slide it up on it's roof... I figured the only damage I could see was the roof itself so no harm sliding it up in the snow. Doesn't look it but the bank was pretty steep & at an angle so it was manipulated to the the top & set down.... Then I laid it down easy & stood it back on it's wheels....my Photographer seemed to lose interest in the end...LoL Anyway, it went pretty easy and fortunately the operator was ok...a little shook up & a little wet but very lucky! ecruzllc
I had to do a similar job once. I ended up lifting the whole skid steer with my small crane to prevent damage. It was a little too far to reach with the tow truck without losing all the fuel and oil. You did nice work though using the tow truck. That was a good decision to slide it on its roof first.
