EdsTowing
We are "Gearing Up" for a strong winter this year with some new equipment to add to our arsenal. First up, a new F550 4wd "Attack Truck"... We ordered 2 new trucks for next year (this crazy world we live in now) but we were concerned about this winter. We found this new unit coming out of the factory and got on it before it was even advertised. I'm going to use this as my "daily driver" and help the guys during storms. We pick it up Monday and it gets wrapped Tuesday. Then I will outfit it with the towing & communication equipment....pics to follow. I'm looking forward to trying the 7.3 gas engine w/ 10 spd. It may not work as hard as my son's truck ...but then again doesn't have too...😉 Got a new Skid Steer delivered today that we ordered a while ago.... We have a new contract for a particular customer so we needed to add another machine. It's our first track machine so I'm looming forward to how well it works. It's bigger then our tire machine as well. This "Kage" box is a power angle plow that can hook in to the snow bow automatically. A little pricey but a nice set up We finally finished a plow project for the other Skid Steer as well. We had a Fisher off of our old shop truck that we refurbished & modified for the machine...
dperone
Congrats on the new toys Ed! I think you'll enjoy the 7.3, the only complaint my dad has with his new one is the milage but he also loves that skinny pedal.

Yea well I went to the same "school" as your Dad...LoL Sometimes I come to work going 100 because of the song on the radio... We just moved in to a new home that's only 3 miles from the shop so it won't get much mileage on it. I have never owned anything that gets good fuel economy so I don't know what I'm missing I guess...
