Man Lift...

Rob had a 9000# Man Lift yesterday that a customer bought from CoPart. It was a "PITA"....didn't run/turn, pretty tall...but he got it.

Probably gave your winch a work out! Those things are hard to budge when they don't run, usually all 4 wheels lock up.

Yea I think he has a pic of it...put a snatch block in the line, back to the winch.

I had one that got stuck in a hole and then broke something in the drive unit. Winched it out and towed it about half a mile with a police escort. Kinda wish I had them put the boom over my truck to maybe get some of the counterweight weight off the truck, maybe?

I think that's nearly a 40,000 Lb machine so she's gonna be a grunt from either end....

Man lifts always look lighter than they are when in reality they are heavy f#&kers...

Animosus, Swinging the boom around would have made a difference, but not enough to say so really. Im with Ed, thats probably 40.000+ pounds in the foot print area of about the size of a full sized van. That had to be one serious pull
