Sorry for the delay in response. We just got back from a trip to the Florida show. I think everything is here to finish this truck but they were swamped while I was away.

We are going to be in and around the low $30k's number once we are done. It's a DT466 Pre Emission, Alison Auto, Hyd. Brake, Spring suspension.

I bought the truck new in 08' as an 07' pre emission unit. It was a great truck for us and I believe will be for years to come.

Ed pm me when it's ready.

    Thanks, Shannon

  2. but It may very well be worn out already being a Kilar..

I have never ran a kilar or have any experience with one but in the last couple years I have been seeing a lot of them in use, I have several different rollbacks come to my impound weekly picking up for copart and every time I see a new person with a kilar I ask them about it, I have had several tell me that they have ran Miller and Jerdan the whole time until they got the kilar and would continue to use kilar inbthe future that they love them. Again I'm not affiliated with kilar I have no experience with them. Just saying what's been said to me.

  3. I'd say take the money
I got paid that's what I charged they gave me a CC before I ever took the job. I'm asking for advice about what to charge for RV's . I don't tow many I always turn them down. How do you'll charge for RV's do you'll charge the same as a truck and trailer or? I just felt that the motor club was to happy so I felt I under charged them. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  4. Ok guys I get calls from time to time about RV needing towing and I always usually turn them down because the wheel grids for my underlift weight about 150lb each and most RV's don't have full chassis so I can't use forks. Well a couple days ago Road America calls needing a RV towed and I told them I didn't have time about a hour later they call back and say they still need a tow so I ask where is it and where is it going. It was about 15 miles from me and loaded miles another 61miles away so just under 80 miles from drop off back home. Again I don't do many RV's so I'm thinking I'll just give them a I don't want to do it price and they will leave me alone. Keep in mind it's a M/C , I tell them $1250.00 and she says one moment while I generate a cc I say it's 4% fee to use a cc she says no problem any other fees. I'm thinking damn I must have done this too cheap? O it was about 5pm also if that matters. It was about 43' long So how should I charge for rv's was this to cheap or did Road America have no other options ? Any advice is appreciated. 1a09f7f070751421f704de9af4b6c272.jpg

  5. Do like I do everytime a motor club has tried to f*ck me I raise hell and tell them don't ever f*cking call me again you'll need me sooner than later and when I tell them that they have always paid me 100% because I'm like you in a rual area and they don't have any contractors with in a 100 miles or more so I get a bunch of motor club calls because I'm the only Towing service in my area.

  6. So you guys don't even charge 2x's ? You'll must charge more per day than me. I only charge $25 but the city and another company charges $35. Me I would charge $125 per day. $25x5

  7. I have no experience with that exact atlas but from my experience with atlas tire machine and balancers they are junk. Have you ever heard the expression you get what you pay for? Save your money! If you have a Greg Smith close by go experience it first hand they have a show room a couple hundred miles from me and I went and looked at lifts they are willing to let you try anything they sale. Honestly if you are wanting to do heavy duty I think you are best with bars except the 19.5's I do them on a coats but 22.5 & 24.5's I use bars and for a balancer I tried several and the best one I found is a manual coats the heavy duty tires are so heavy that it continues to burn up the drive motors and aren't that accurate. Good luck on your purchase

  8. Was the wheel lift hydraulic? I seen it on eBay but the seller never responded to my questions. Seemed like a good deal till I realized that the under reach is probably cable style is why the seller never responded. Let us know how it all works. Add some more pics
