  1. @laser45v Bro is made in Sweden. We have a Bro HD200. Why do you need a three stage? Any steel shop could put you another extension in and get a longer cylinder. The Bro we have is stronger than the JerrDan 35 ton we have. Any time I have to go out I take our Bro it's my favorite we've had it forever but never have any trouble with it. The other guys don't like it because it doesn't have tilt . But I've used it for so long it doesn't bother me, sometimes I have to double pick because of no tilt , you just have to add extensions. But I have never had anything I couldn't tow because of the length of the under reach. If you don't have your wrecker on a long chassis if you make your under reach longer you want have any weight on your steer. Irish iron make fork adapters that are over a foot long would that make your under reach long enough? If so that would be your cheapest option. Post some pictures of your Bro, you don't see many but the ones that are around are still running because they are bullet proof.

  2. I've never seen or tried the weego but I have the Norco GB150 in my trucks and they do great they will start a medium duty wrecker that is completely dead. I have never tried a dead class 8 tractor but it would probably crank it once. They are rated to 12L diesel or gas I think. Regular cars it'll jump off probably a 100 cars before needing charge it also has a voltage read out on it so when you hook it to a dead battery it'll tell you how dead it is and once it starts you can verify the alternator is working with the digital voltage meter.

  3. Shit I never turn off my trucks I even leave them running when at the fuel island and go in the store without turning off or locking them. I Guess I better start paying a little more attention. Thieves don't want anything to work with but I guess they could joy ride in a wrecker.

  5. In 1971, I owned a Richfield "Service Station" and two trucks as an Auxiliary 3A Contract Station. in San Mateo, CA.  A gallon of Premium gas was priced at  $.36 cents a gallon. That was when a Service attendant Washed windshields, Checked oil Levels under the hood and checked the air pressure in the tires, Less than a year after I bought the Station, there was a "fuel shortage created by Pat Brown, who was the Calif  Governor and the price went up to $.55 cents per gallon.  ARCO bought Richfield out, Started Self Serve at the pumps and Self Service prevailed and continues to do so now.
When I graduated High Scholl in 1958, fuel cost was $.26 cents a gallon. That was the year that Mc Donald hamburgers came out and the price was $ .19 cents. Those were the days when life for a teenager was really FUN. Now, not so much
Dang you're old! Lol I bet you've seen a lot of
