Looks over loaded to me and quite the overhang. Single axle carrier and car would think about 23,000?

I doubt its that much weight on the deck, looks can be deceiving with the "baby" medium duty trucks.

Would be interesting to know the numbers for sure, but looks "good to go" to me.

If the operator extended his underreach out and put some tag lights on it that would solve the overhang issue.

Looks like the driver's still loading. I'm guessing the air bags are down, making it look worse than it is. I'd probably just take it slow.

My single axle carriers weigh almost 20,000 lbs. and I know that bed is bigger with a tandem axle but it doesn't look good.

First: I Do Not Like It. Part of that is the perspective which the images shows. Part of it is that obviously the air is dumped for image impact. Part of it is the vehicles position on the bed of the carrier being transported. Off loading the vehicle on the bed, which could have been done regardless if the disabled carrier could under it's own power. The vehicle could have been transferred and on it's way on another unit. So many questions in this What Would You Do Discussion. Though, on the surface I can see where most would be OK with it. Short distance tow only...
