Darlene Gay Luciano - May 23, 2024 (NY)

Darlene Gay Luciano the wife of Tom Luciano - 69, went peacefully home on May 23, 2024 at Glens Falls Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer.

Darlene was born December 13, 1954 to Paul E. Smith(deceased) and Marilyn (Potter) Smith. Besides her mother she is survived by her beloved husband C. Thomas Luciano; children Maria (Jason) Willette, Regina (Jason) DiBella; grandchildren Mario and Angelo Willette, Anthony and Vincent DiBella; great-grandchild Augustus Willette; brother Doug (Carol) Smith , the Luciano family Jeannette, Elaine, Virginia, and Sam. Darlene was predeceased by her father Paul E. Smith and brother David Smith.
 
A graduate of South Glens Falls Central High School, Darlene then worked as Executive Secretary at Fort Edward Express for 20 years and then in the food service at North Warren Central School.
 
Darlene was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Glens Falls for 27 years, and then after moving to Pottersville, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Olmstedville for 25 years. She was very active as Eucharistic Minister, Minister to the Sick, Coordinator of Prayer Line, Hospice Volunteer.
 
Relatives and friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday May 29, 2024 at Barton-McDermott Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Pine St Chestertown, NY.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday May 30, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Olmstedville with Father Philip Allen officiating.
Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery South Glens Falls, NY .
 
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: St. Joseph's Catholic Church - 635 Church St. Olmstedville, NY 1285

 

There is a block of rooms at the Fort William Henry Hotel in Lake George under the name Tom Luciano Hotel phone is 518 668 3081
