R Model Curb weight?

This is kind of an off the wall question but, an elderly customer of ours came into the shop today wondering if my f650 rollback would haul his naked tandem R model Mack (bare frame, no plate or box on it). Initially I thought "heck no" but he insisted it only weights 11,000-11,600 lbs. Does this sound right to any of you heavier operators?

no, I have a 99 pete day cab tractor with a smaller engine and an aluminum frame and it weighs 14,300

Yea Mack was never known for being a light weight.... steel cabs, camelback suspension...a simple mack 5spd transmission is just shy of a Smart Car....LoL

 

I would say a typical day cab tandem is 15,000

thanks all for the replies. I passed this job down to the next guy, no point in ruining equipment for a couple bucks and being unsafe
