Tri-State Wrecker
I had my extend cylinder leaking bad on the axle lift and took it to be rebuilt and they told me that it was bent and I need a new one. I called Zips and they said that it would take a month and was $6000.00. Does anyone know any other options?

GRUMPS The Towman
Whoa.. That's gonna be a tough one.. In a perfect world, if you could find a used one that could be rebuilt that would be the ticket.. A buddy of mine went through a similar issue with his Vulcan V50 not too long ago. His wasn't bent but was heavily pitted and corroded so it kept tearing up seals. After searching every avenue we could think of he ended up biting the bullet and ordering a new one from Miller... I dont recall the exact amount but it was in the ball park $7,500. Tri-State Wrecker
Well I had to bite the bullet and get one from Miller. The good thing is that I called Purpose Wrecker and got it for $4200.00 shipped to me.Saved 2k with a phone call. That shows how much mark up there is at Zips. Both were getting it from Miller and then selling to me. Thanks for all of your replies. I guess this was just one of those rare pieces that no one has except the dealer.
