TowNews
Press Release from Pantusa Towing & Recovery (San Antonio, Texas): We are so excited to introduce our new heavy duty driver, Michelle Ramirez. Michelle started off as a light duty operator and quickly moved into medium duty towing. She took every opportunity to learn the heavy duty side and we couldn’t be more proud to have her move into our 2020 Peterbilt 389. She is one of few female HD towing operators in the country.
Moose
I would Hire a Female that was eager to work in what has been a tough industry. Hope to get the chance, so far they have all been too young with little service experience.
GRUMPS The Towman
Congrats Operator Ramirez!! I agree Moose. I too would hire a female operator in a heartbeat. I have no qualms about women giving this occupation a go. Quote PROFESSIONAL TOWING & RECOVERY IS NOT JUST A JOB.. IT IS A LIFESTYLE
rreschran
In past years, I've too have hired female towers who had the abilities to show the guys how it's done and ... did a better job. Welcome to the ranks Michelle. If you haven't yet, get over to Tommy Tuttle's Heavy Training Course (CIRT) and get TDLR qualified. Tommy is located in San Antonio. His website and contact information is located at: http://www.cirtoftexas.com/ Best of luck to you. R. Quote Randall C. Resch
