EdsTowing
Towed a Propane truck to the dealer in Allentown the other morning... We got a call from a customer with a tractor broken down in NJ not far from where I was so I shot across the border to fetch it.... Rushing around to get back, I got hooked & rolled on out to head home. Got about 1/4 mile down this little back road and noticed the air shields were flopping in the breeze when I got up to about 25... Pulled over on the ramp to investigate prior to getting on the big road... Found all of the brackets on this POS were broken & missing...both sides. So I had to strap the hell out of them to keep them from falling off. If I would of paid closer attention, I would of towed it from the front & dropped the shaft. Still had to take it easy coming home....the dam shield was swelling like a fat guy at a pie eating contest... More mad at myself...I don't usually make these mistakes... LoL Well anyway, it all stayed together for the 55 mile ride back.
Bushwacker
Ed I hate it to, I look and when it's raggedy as hell I'll pull the shaft and hook the front unless it's bad weather and I'll just drive slow, I had a midroof top air jammer blow off one time pulling it backwards.
