EdsTowing
No more Show Time Glitz & Glamour...time to get back in to what we do yesterday... Dump truck through the driveshaft while going down the road. Unfortunately it was going past a big lake and the shaft apparently went in the water! Bucket truck in a muddy mess with a blown engine... I typically don't like towing these from the rear. They are top heavy and the front axles get unstable. We had to tight chain the axle up and we were still 13'8" but planed a route that it would be fine.
GRUMPS The Towman
Depending on the cost of that shaft, The owner Might want to consider going for a rescue swim to find it.. Lol I told him the same thing! The front section with half of the carrier bearing was still hanging off the transmission but everything else was gone. If it had to happen...at least it lost the rear section.... made for an easy tow...LoL 1
