EdsTowing Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) Had a couple of Tractor Trailer tows yesterday... Loaded Car Carriers are a PITA to move...On the shoulder of a busy ramp on the interstate... Got it so it wasn't scraping in the back, my wheel lift wouldn't drag and the truck was @ 13'8". The lowest bridge to deal with is the one in the picture so I flipped at this exit to go over it... Then a 2nd one to a truck repair garage in the area... Had a 3rd job also but the driver didn't want to pay for his mistake... Box truck in the woods...slid sidewaays in to a stump so couldn't be pulled forward or backwarsds... This was about as close as I could get to it... Edited October 28, 2021 by EdsTowing 5 Quote
Stuart Wagner Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 I usually tell the car carriers to call someone else. I put them in the tour bus/ pusher motorhome group. I tell all of them $1,500 minimum tow and that gets rid of most of them Quote Check out our website at: www.cjwagnerinc.com

It actually wasn't too bad, the truck wasn't a pig like some of them. They just push the boundaries on all "fronts". They are always heavy....this guy was 79k. He says when he hauls Kia's it's an extra car and he's typically 83-84k. Then the height issues...and the stinger scrapping the ground.... 2 Quote
