The passing of a UK legend

Today the UK towing industry mourns the loss of Tom Johnson ....a legendary figure in our industry for more tha 40 years...

 

  Tom was a founder director of Britannia Rescue,   without doubt the best recovery club to work for ...... a very straight talking, honest man  who was totally comitted  to improve safety and operational standards in the industry....Tom served on several councils and was a key figure on the management board of the Institute of Vehicle Recovery  assisting on the development of operator training programmes for many years .......

Up until very recently he was one of the trustees of RISC  benevolent fund .....specifically for sick or  injured recovery personnel.

 

Tom's passing will leave a huge gap which will be almost impossible to fill ...he did more for the UK towing industry than most others ,  always had the time to talk to anyone  a really lovely man !!

 

Our thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences  to Tom's family and friends.
