This driver was in a rush to get home at the end of the day unfortunately bald tires and Ice don't mix. His boss was extremely happy we stopped to help.

FedEx is notorious for not inspecting their contractors equipment. The contractors are often working on a thin profit margin which surviving means often the equipment is not properly maintained. We have a former contractor now in a tow truck. Too many stories about the cost and down time attempting to keep up.

I too deal with a Fed Ex contractor who runs around with either bald or tight tread summer tires year round. I always figured it was just this particular contracted company. Seems to be a Fed Ex thing as a whole If you guys are seeing the same.. These guys are constantly getting into trouble going places they really shouldnt.
