It is Deer season out here in central NY !!

Had a couple out in the same area coming back to the city to the same body shop. Nothing fancy, saved an extra trip. Just thought I would snap a pic. Lol

Same here. In fact, there are 2 small "mom n pop" body shops around here that are only open from Nov to Apr. The guys running them have full time day jobs and run their small shops solely for deer season. They make a killing too.

In 2019 we had a record number of deer hits ( I think we towed over 215).

As of today, only had 64 on the year. I have heard from several hunters the our whitetail deer population is way down in Maryland due to " blue tongue" which has killed many.

I remember reading something about that last year. It is a fungal infection of some sort if I recall. The state was concerned about it here, but it doesnt appear to have been a problem for us yet.
