Heavy Duty Response Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Hey Y'all from Walterboro, South Carolina home of the Heavy Duty Response Team. We have been part of the industries for many years as well as Tow411. Some how we got disconnected with a busy schedule and forgot to make the switch to this new beautiful site ( Great Job Ron). If I can help anyone here don't hesitate to reach out to me. Stay safe, Nate Bristow 1 Quote
TripleTreeThomas Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 Hello. Seeing how you have a lot of experience in this field I was wondering if I could get your opinion on something. Looking at buying my first rollback and I cannot figure out how important bed length is. I see trucks from 19 feet up to 25 feet. It would seem to me that 19 feet will fit most crew cab long bed pickups. I am shying away from the 25 footer just because of the reduced in town maneuverability. Is there something I am missing with my thinking? Thank you! Quote Texas
Old Tow Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 I like a 21ft bed myself. You can get a dually on a 19ft but it ain't good. Just the opinion of an 83yr old tower who is still hooking ! Quote
Moose Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 Welcome Back Nate, now that the board is attracting past Tow411 members maybe it'll be more active. Quote
