Detroit Wrecker Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 (edited) Here is a recent build completed for CSI of California. The owner personally drove the truck from California and flew home, then flew back to Detroit once we completed her a couple weeks later. Then drove back home to California. We were honored that he chose us. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for him to commit to a drive across the country for a quality product. We were proud to install the NEW 2.0 LIL HERC! His Chevy 2020 Gas was a perfect choice for his area. On the 2.0 we feel that as a company we have diligently addressed the major wear components that typically fail. Now a unit can last a lifetime. Not have to replace parts consistently for the operation of said unit. The new bigger Lift cylinder is fully capable of lifting diesel trucks from the front without a sweat. The Lift Cylinder went from a 4" to a 5". This is the biggest cylinder offered on this type of application. The tubes are now all 3/8 plus steel wear pads. These are clearly the strongest tubes in the WORLD!!. The In/Out Cylinder grew bigger as well. Oil seals and bronze oil-lite bushings should guarantee it's the owner a lifetime of service if simply maintained properly. We offer a lifetime warranty on pins & bushings. If you do not maintain it properly you will void the warranty. The adjustable pivot points that can be serviced or replaced easily is unlike any other unit. We are truly the only manufacturer that offers such a superior pin system that allows the end-user to simply tighten its self. As opposed to purchasing parts to maintain its operation. If you want a strong unit that will perform day in and day out. References from around the country! yoBdaBenO Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 That's COOL, what are the general type tows are these companies doing with a setup like this? Seems this might be the bosses truck, maybe repo, ppi, Not Wrecks! Quote
Detroit Wrecker Posted February 1, 2020 Author Posted February 1, 2020 In this particular case it is used for repo's. We often do see owners of towing companies use it a their personal truck. The advantage across the board is having your personal car/truck and a work truck combined into one. Saving a ton of time when you need to tow someone. Instead of having to go back to the yard and get the tow truck. Now, no matter where or when you are ready! Quote
