TowForce Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 The Officer appears to have never looked back or even reacted the second vehicle struck the wall as he walked back to his car. Since we don't actually have eye's in the back of hour heads we must listen to the traffic and continuously glance at the traffic. In no way is this the officers fault, what is being said is be aware. It is likely a second later the officer would have been seriously injured as the direction his camera faces is towards the drivers door. Never walk straight towards the drivers door when it is along the road. Instead walk towards the passenger side away from the roadway then watch prior to getting near the roadway. This does not say the vehicle will not strike you, it says you have a second or two to react. The officer did not have that and was likely knocked down. It does not appear he actually jumped out of the way. You watch video and decide if the officer was knocked down or jumped out of the way. Again, this is not the officers fault, but what would you have done differently and does this make you rethink your actions in such a situation? Quote
yoBdaBenO Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 YouTube Moderators are getting as Bad As FB... I saw the video and if a young child has an issue with learning about danger , then they have lead a sheltered life to this point. Maintaining Innocence is one thing, creating ignorance is another. Glad the officer was not seriously injured..... This is a stark reminder to keep your ears open and eyes on the traffic. Quote
