Stubborn66 Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 I got a referral for a call an hour west of the shop, out in the sticks. A family from NYC rented this little house for a long weekend. Decided it would be easier to drive down in the yard to unload their luggage, there they stayed! I know the general area, my wife took the call and I was going to take the wrecker until she said they told her that when I got to the address it was a long driveway up into the woods. I Threw a couple extra cables and strap in the new (to me) service truck and took it. When I got there, I knew I could not get down in there without sinking, and I did not know where the septic system was so I ran a line down through a snatch block off one of the many trees to the car. That is usually the good thing out in the stick, lots of trees. Easy pull once I got it rigged. My wife quoted it at our normal recovery rates and the customer gave me a nice tip to boot. Really like this old Ford!! 7 Quote
