I have my favorites, what are your suggestions?

The image attached was taken at Mt. Vernon Restaurant which was located by the museum. Sadly, it is no longer there and event the old house it was in is no longer there. Does anyone remember it and did you eat there. I will add other restaurants like the popular City Cafe known for their cakes. If you have never been there, it's open 24 hours and a great late night bite. Huge Plates!

Now what are your suggestions? Great Places downtown and on the other side of the river. Go...

Oh, someone asked Bar B Q yes there is plenty of Barbq places.

Microbreweries? Yes, there are a few for those who search them out. See you there?

Did someone say Breakfast? Well there is City Cafe but one can only eat there so many time.

Not far away is a place just around the corner from Chattanooga Choo Choo and Chattanooga Micro Brewerie. It's Bluegrass Grill, a Family Owned Hole In The Wall Place. Breakfast Lunch Only Closes early. The Image I added is Fresh Made Quiche on available on Saturday Morning. The Dad and sometimes Mom makes it very early before opening. Always Hot & Ready and goes FAST...

I always liked the buffet at the ChooChoo on Sunday morning.

The City Diner thing is always too crowded, but the food is good and the cakes too.

Tried the Boathouse for the first time tonight. I rate it a 5.9 out of 10, it's just Okay. Must be the place more than the food that is the draw. Call ahead if you're going Friday/Saturday. Oysters were kinda on the small side. Catfish was good, but not Fresh Catfish as I would have thought.
