Into a Trailer

Recommended Posts

We got this call for an SUV that ran into the back of another SUV pulling a small trailer. When we got there we found that the Jeep was resting on the trailer, and the front wheels were actually off the ground. So we hooked up to the back, and tried to just pull it off, but we found the that part of the frame of the Jeep was caught on the fender of the trailer. So we slid our bed under the Jeep, and lifted it off the trailer, and had the driver of the SUV and trailer pull out from under it. Then we set it back down and winched it on the rest of the way.

That's how I would have done it... Was the driver of the jeep on the phone and failed to stop? Could have just as easily been a tow truck siting there which got struck. Distracted driving is everywhere, I see people on their phones....
