Derlyn Z
Had a Rolloff dumpster truck the other morning that sunk in someone's yard. It was frozen on the top a little that morning, but the sun was starting to make things a little smeary on the top, and he was heading back around the house to get a full dumpster from a horse barn that they were building back there. But he didn't quite make it. Thankfully this guy didn't just keep on spinning the tires, and dig himself a big hole. It wasn't sunk very deep. My guess it was in there close to about 180 feet from the driveway where I was. I used all my 150' of cable, and a few endless loop slings to reach him. But it popped out of there pretty nice. I was glad for my pieces of skid loader tracks that I had cut for the rear spades, that way it keeps my truck right where I want it without damaging there property. That was a trick I learned from Tom Luciano from Miller Industries, and it sure works good! The picture below is from a different call that I used them on.
usmc041127
Thats a slick idea. Probably helps with traction on concrete as well.
Derlyn Z
Yea it definitely helps on asphalt, I don't think I have used them on concrete yet. But I am sure it would help there as well.
