Tow Business Podcast
What is meant by this is do your operators on a recovery scene have a clear understanding of who is in charge? Is there a clear understanding of who the Recovery Supervisor is as additional operators arrive, is it communicated? If so, how do you train for this understanding? Is your Recovery Supervisor the guy with the most training? Is he whoever has been with the company the longest? Do you even operate in this fashion?
EdsTowing
At my company it's the guy who's name goes on the bottom of the checks....LoL When I'm asked to help another company, I listen to them...unless they ask me to make the decisions. If I have an idea that I believe to be a better solution, I present it with respect and discuss it. If someone wants me to do something stupid, well then...I explain why it's not a good idea and obviously I wont hurt my equipment or anyone on scene. Fortunately I typically have worked with good guys that either know the right ways or accept the knowledge that I have to offer.
