Couple of European guys that were "communication challenged" got themselves in to  an awkward situation this morning... Not sure how they did it but I'll assume there was some practice involved to get it "just right"...

 

 

Starts off with a call on the radio to the office that I can't find the 2008 Volvo that is supposedly stuck at this facility. Dispatch says the guy sees you and he's coming over? So I see a guy walking towards me and then notice this trailer with a light pole sticking out the side...??? So I drive over & get out to evaluate. The conversation was very much "one sided" between this experienced team & myself...

I start it off with "Well I see the 1st problem...where's your truck?

He points to that tractor up there...

I said "they told me you're in a 08 Volvo?"

Yes...

"Well that is a Freightliner Cascadia"...

Yes...

OK...Well why did you unhook?

Yes...

Can you hook it back up? It's grossed out and I'm not moving it sideways on the landing gear...

Yes...

So he rehooks it and I evaluate the situation...

 

 

That took some skill right there...and you were able to destroy 3 out of 4 tires & wheels...nearly perfect...

Yes...

 

So we rigged to the suspension and the rear ICC bumper frame to slide it sideways away from the pole stanchion...

 

 

Had the office get paid while I was hooking up so once done, I could just move on to the next rocket scientist...

 

"OK Buddy, you're out but you're going to need a tire service. My office referred your boss to a local guy and they took care of the bill"

Smiled and said...you guest it...Yes...
