KY Nick
We bought the NRC 9945 in 2002 and mounted it on a Freightliner Classic. After 18 years of faithful service it was time to give the Freightliner a rest. The wrecker was sent to Pardo's Service in Richmond IN our NRC Dealer for updates and remount. We purchased a 2016 International 5900 new spec'd and ready for the 9945. We operated the unit with a NRC quick swap until 2020. Cummins with 8LL trans, 46k rears with full lockers 20k steerable lift axle, on 24.5 rubber. Along with an NRC tag axle if needed. Always put the 5 axle where it matters.... During the process we updated the rear legs to a rotator style leg, new 4 stage short under reach, custom boxes installed on body. Weighing in just shy of 50k with a FAW of 17,600. Thank you to Pardo's staff for doing a fantastic job on this truck.
