I think you may have misunderstood the truck would be a t880 with industrial carrier bed.

Currently we have a 25ton and a 20ton we don’t do any light duty. We do however get out fair share of 550 work trucks that are always heavy. A 112 or 16 ton would be fine for them but wouldn’t add a lot or versatility. Some of the companies we work for have pickups and vans but we currently sub them out when needed.

How hard can you pull with an industrial carrier. I know the unit we are looking at has a 20k winch but I guess the real question is can the bed with stand the added strains of recovery? Or would we still need to send a wrecker?  These units seem to make perfect sense for f450 and 550 type trucks. But is it realistic to think it’s capable of doing both the recovery portion and the towing portion. We have other uses for the truck but I was hoping it could have some added versatility.

Ed I just wanted to say thank you for the connection. We were able to get part #s from you man and order shelve to fit. They went in easy and and made a huge difference in useable space. Now that we have move literally almost everything that was pre installed by the dealer to places that make sense truck is finally up and running. Made it’s run today. Even if it’s a smoking deal not sure I would ever buy another truck that someone else ordered and walked away from because everyone like things set up different. But anyways thanks again the help was really appreciated!

Can you keep a trailer hitch with this unit? We regularly use the hitch on the unit we would want to add something like this on. It pulls 14k generators for a customer and wouldn’t want to lose that ability.

Thanks Ed may try to call Jerr-Dan direct and see what they say because the only shelving we are being offered is the pull down. It’s nice but not $8000 a side nice.

Did you build the shelves? Or did they come with the unit? We are having trouble finding anything available for a 49” tunnel box.
