He was born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico on September 27, 1971 to parents Carlos and Emma (Melendez) Marin . He is survived by his mother, Emma Marin, brother, Carlos Tomas Marin Melendez; sisters, Emma Collazo and, Cristina Marin Melendez. He is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Manuel Marin Medina.
