Excavator flipped over on highway.

Received a call from Mass State Police to respond immediately to Rte. 495 in Middleboro for a heavy equipment accident. Apparantly a late model heavy duty backhoe which was on a 20 ton trailer struck the rear boom on a bridge overpass, ripping the machine off the trailer at highway speeds. The machine rolled over numerous times breaking up as it rolled. We responded with two Landoll TT units. One to transport our Loader to lift up all the large broken pieces of the backhoe, and the second trailer was used to carry the damaged backhoe to our shop. We also had a large area of hydraulic oil as well as a wide area of debris to clean up. We used our 60 ton rotator to upright the backhoe then we lifted it compeltely onto our Landoll Trailer. We then swept up the highway and transported the machine to our Freetown location.
