Platinum Sponsor BigWheelArchives Posted January 31, 2018 Platinum Sponsor Share Posted January 31, 2018 8-21-04 Received a call from Mass State Police to respond immediately to Rte. 195E/W of Faunce Corner Road for a 11,000 gallon gas TT unit that was deep into the woods. This unit was heading west on Rte. 195 at 4:00 a.m. when a vehicle was heading east at him on the wrong side of the road. The driver swerved to the left and went across the median strip then across four lanes of Rte. 195, down a deep gulley and knocking down some very large trees, jamming them underneath the truck and trailer. We responded with three 55 gallon drums to pump the diesel fuel in and we also had our crew cutting all trees away from the truck and trailer to prevent ripping out the valves on the trailer and causing more damage to the tractor. After all the trees were cut and removed from the scene, we winched the TT unit up the hill and onto Rte. 195, then turned the unit around and hooked it to one of our HD Wreckers and towed the unit to our Freetown shop.
