Man who robbed tow truck driver still on the run (MO)

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Police looking for a man they said robbed a two truck driver in south St. Louis County Tuesday night.

 

Police said a tow truck driver was robbed near Interstate 55 and Butler Hill at around 3:15. The driver was not hurt, but was robbed of some cash.

 

Police were chasing after the suspect for a short time, but they lost track of him. A little while later, the suspect's car was found in Illinois but the car was empty.

If the car's in which a suspect was not stolen ... that's a positive lead to go on for cusre. I hope the bad guy is caught and thankful the tower wasn't injured or killed.   R.
