Irvin-Gina Posted January 1, 2019 Share Posted January 1, 2019 Irvin Johns started Suburban Wrecker Service in 1969 with a used ‘63 Chevy 1 ton wrecker painted orange and white. A short time later, Irvin hired Bill Bogard who continued to work with Irvin 47 years until Bill’s retirement in 2017! Suburban Towing survived through the years with the help of loyal employees like Bill and many others, hardworking family members, and awesome customers! Today we have over 100 pieces of equipment to handle our customer’s needs. 2018 Irvin and Gina created an ESOP as a way of rewarding our loyal employees for their retirement. I remember my father and I traveled down from Indiana to try and buy a big old tri-axle heavy duty truck you had for sale, probably 35-40 years ago. We didn't get together on the truck but looking at all your trucks and swapping stories between Irvin my father was awesome.
